tech-talentThe Information Technology Department (ITD) provides high quality, value for money Information Technology services and leadership in the application technology towards the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Our priorities are to ensure that critical IT systems, operations, and infrastructure perform at target levels; strengthen security of IT systems and information assets; maintain close alignment of IT initiatives with business priorities; deliver services at a high value-for-money while also maintaining high satisfaction with service delivery; and ensure that capital projects deliver intended business outcomes. We are building a Talent Pool of IT professionals interested in being part of a team that is agile, integrated, member focused, and positioned as a trusted business advisor within the Fund.

Climate Professionals

Climate change presents a major threat to long-term growth, prosperity and macroeconomic stability, and has a direct impact on the economic wellbeing of all countries. As the IMF expands its work on the macroeconomic implications of climate change, we welcome applications from experienced professionals with expertise in at the intersection of macroeconomics and climate science to join teams dedicated to working on climate change issues and contribute to strengthening the Fund’s work on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and transition strategies.

Digital Money Professionals

<img alt=Rapidly changing developments stemming from the rise of public and private digital money call for a digital transformation agenda at the Fund that matches the needs of our members and the new policy questions that emerge. We continue to deepen our expertise on digital money and fintech, and we are advancing analytical work on the implications of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) on the International Monetary System, including on capital flows, and the Global Financial Safety Net. As we scale up work on the policy implications of digital money, we are seeking experienced professionals with expertise across a variety of issues related to digital money, fintech and digital finance more broadly, including the macro-financial implications of digital money, regulation, supervision, legal frameworks, as well as methodologies for monetary and financial statistics.
