You can search for jobs and apply through the IMF My Jobs webpage. The IMF only reviews applications submitted through this website. Early submissions are encouraged.

  • Make sure you complete the online application form in full. You can upload your resume at the start of the application to complete many of the fields.
  • A resume is required for your application to be considered.
  • Attach your cover letter explaining why you are a good fit for the IMF and this vacancy. Your cover letter can be added during the application process under the ‘My Experience’ tab using the "Resume/CV" file upload field. Any additional documents you think are relevant can also be added here. You may attach up to five files. The maximum size limit for each file is 250 kilobytes. Attachments must be in one of the following formats: .doc, .pdf, .rtf, .txt, or .html.
  • Images, compressed (.zip) files, or candidate information held on external websites will not be reviewed. Be sure that none of your attached documents are password-protected.
  • All applications must be in English.
