Hou Wang

Hou Wang is an Economist in the Western Hemisphere Department of the International Monetary Fund. Her research interests include monetary policy, macroprudential policy, and international finance. After joining the IMF, she has worked with central banks developing Forecasting and Policy Analysis Systems (FPAS) to support flexible inflation-forecast targeting frameworks. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, where she worked on quantitative models of sovereign debt and default.
