Sabina Blaskovic

Internal Investigator

Sabina Blaskovic is the Internal Investigator and head of the IMF’s Office of Internal Investigations (OII). Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Ms. Blaskovic oversees independent administrative investigations into suspected misconduct on the part of IMF staff members and contractual employees.

A dual national of Croatia and the United States, Ms. Blaskovic has more than 20 years of professional investigations experience. Prior to joining the IMF in July 2016, Ms. Blaskovic held senior investigative positions at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services (UN OIOS), and in New York City government departments.

Ms. Blaskovic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oberlin College and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, with concentrations in International Security Policy and Human Rights.
