The IMF has in place a system of ethical conduct certification and financial disclosure that was first introduced in April 2000 and since then updated on several occasions. Most recently, in June 2023, the IMF decided that going forward, it would publish on its external website summary statements of the financial assets and interests reported by the Managing Director and the Deputy Managing Directors through the Fund’s annual (confidential) financial disclosure program. Summary statements will be available on the Fund’s external website for the duration of the appointment of the Managing Director and two years thereafter and for the duration of the appointment of each DMD and six months thereafter. This decision is becoming effective at the end of calendar year 2023, with the conclusion of the financial disclosure submission and review process for calendar year 2022.
