The 2013 WBG and IMF Spring Meetings will be held over the weekend of April 19-21, 2013 in Washington, D.C. As in previous years, the Civil Society Policy Forum, a program of policy dialogues for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), will be held between April 17 and April 20, 2013. Information on the Policy Forum and the schedule of sessions will be posted on the Bank Civil Society website by mid-March.
All CSO representatives interested in participating in the Spring Meetings must obtain individual accreditation. The online registration system to accept applications for civil society accreditation commenced on March 8, 2013 and will close on April 8, 2013. Representatives are encouraged to apply for accreditation via the on-line request for CSO accreditation.
Civil society organizations (CSOs) include non-governmental organizations, community groups, labor unions, indigenous peoples movements, faith based organizations, professional associations, philanthropic foundations, think tanks, charitable organizations, and other not-for-profit organizations. Branches of government (government agencies and legislators), individual businesses, political parties, and the media are not included in this category. The sample list of the WBG and IMF civil society interlocutors can be found here.
