Please determine your registration category and submit your registration request accordingly.

Participants are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible to avoid delays.

Delegates

Delegates

Delegates are governmental officials of the member countries of the IMF and the Bank. Delegates are registered through the IMF and World Bank Group Offices of Executive Directors. If you have any questions about Delegate registration, please forward your inquiries to meetingsregistration@imf.org.

Observers

Observers are the representatives of the international, regional and economic organizations that were pre-approved and invited by the IMF and the World Bank Group. If you have any questions about Observer registration, please forward your inquiry to observerregistration@worldbank.org.

Civil Society Representatives

As in previous years, the IMF and World Bank Group Civil Society teams will host a Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) ahead of the official 2016 Annual Meetings October 7-9. The CSPF is a program of events to promote policy dialogue between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the IMF and the World Bank Group, their peers, and government delegations on a wide range of topics. It will be held between October 4 and October 7, 2016. The schedule of sessions will be available by September 6, 2016.

All CSO representatives interested in participating in the CSPF must obtain individual accreditation. This accreditation will also provide access to all the open events of the 2016 Annual Meetings.

The online registration system to accept applications for civil society registration is now open and will close on September 16, 2016. The registration process could take up to three weeks and no new registration requests will be accepted after this deadline, so CSO representatives are encouraged to apply early.

CSOs include non-governmental organizations, community groups, labor unions, indigenous peoples' movements, faith-based organizations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charitable organizations, and other not-for-profit organizations. Representatives from the private sector, academia or governmental bodies must apply for accreditation through the Guests or other relevant registration category.

If you have any questions about the Annual Meetings and/or are interested in organizing a dialogue session within the Civil Society Policy Forum, please send an email to ngoliaison@imf.org (IMF) or civilsociety@worldbank.org (World Bank).

Guests

Applicants will choose whether they are to be listed as IMF Guests or World Bank Group Guests, based on their focus during the Annual Meetings.
