Peter Kunzel is Assistant to the Director in the IMF’s Communications Department. Previously he worked on Portugal in the European Department and on sovereign asset and liability management issues in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF. Prior to that, he worked on a range of emerging markets at the European Investment Bank and the Institute of International Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the George Washington University.
