David Jones is a senior financial sector expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Group and the New York Representative. He is on temporary assignment to the IMF from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he is an Officer in the Markets Group. His most recent country assignment was the United States, where he was responsible for analysis of foreign banking organizations for the US Article IV. David holds a masters’ degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from University of Chicago.
