Zoltan Jakab 

Zoltan JakabZoltan Jakab is a Economist in the IMF’s Research Department. He joined the IMF in 2010 and worked in the Economic Modeling Division in the Research Department. Prior to his current assignment he was the Director for Macroeconomic Analysis  at the Office of the Fiscal Council in Hungary and Principal Economist at the Central Bank of Hungary. His research covers a variety of topics, including general equilibrium modeling, open economy macroeconomics, labor economics, monetary macroeconomics. He holds a Ph.D. from the Central European University of Budapest, Hungary.
