Udo Kock

ukUdo Kock, a national of the Netherlands, has been the Resident Representative for West Bank and Gaza, based in Jerusalem, since November 2010. He has previously worked on IMF lending operations and stabilization programs for Pakistan and Iraq and in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department, where has was involved in surveillance work for high- and middle income countries and vulnerability analysis of emerging markets. He earned an M.A. and Ph.D. degree in economics from the Tinbergen Graduate School of Economics at the Free University in Amsterdam. Before joining the IMF Mr. Kock worked as an Assistant Professor in Economics at his alma mater, as a consultant for the World Bank and he served as an alternate member of the Amsterdam City council.
