Sheheryar Malik is Senior Financial Sector Expert in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Market Department, Global Markets Analysis Division. He contributes to macro-financial surveillance, as well as conjectural and analytical sections of the Global Financial Stability Report. Before joining the IMF, Sheheryar held economist positions at Banque de France, and the Bank of England. He holds an MSc in Finance and Economics, and PhD in Economics, both from the University of Warwick.
