Rohit Goel is a Financial Sector Expert in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He contributes to sections of the Global Financial Stability Report (Chapter 1) and is a member of the Fund’s market surveillance team. He focuses extensively on financial stability risks in emerging markets, market liquidity trends and quantitative modelling across asset classes. His past work has also focused on US corporate stability and global bank analysis. Prior to joining the IMF, Rohit worked as an Assistant Vice President and a writing analyst at Barclays Asia Equities for four years. Rohit holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst, and has completed CAIA and FRM certifications.
