Myrto Oikonomou is an Economist in the African Department of the IMF. Previously she worked as an Economist at the Research Department of the IMF and the Structural Economics Division of the Bank of England. Her main research interests are in macroeconomics, with emphasis on macro-labor, international macroeconomics, migration and automation. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oxford.
