Mouhamadou Sy is an economist at the Asia and Pacific Department—covering Thailand and Tonga—and was previously in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. Prior to the Fund, Mr. Sy worked at the Office of the President and at the Research Department of the African Development Bank. He holds a Ph.D. from the Paris School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Econometrics from the University Paris-Est.
