Jorge Roldós

Jorge Roldós is Assistant Director in the Western Hemisphere Department of the International Monetary Fund. He has worked extensively on macroeconomic issues in Latin America and other regions for the past twenty years and has written a number of papers on open economy macroeconomics, monetary policy, and banking and financial markets. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester (United States), a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Chicago (United States), and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of the Republic of Uruguay.
