Emanuel Kopp

Emanuel Kopp is a Senior Economist in the North American Division, covering the United States economy. Previously, he was in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Departments, where he worked on various Financial Sector Assessment Programs (including Germany, Italy, Denmark, and Colombia), as well as on the economic adjustment program for Portugal. Mr. Kopp’s research interests include macro-financial risk, financial stability and regulation, investment, and macroeconomic forecasting. He holds a Master’s degree in finance, and a PhD in Economics from Vienna University of Economics (Austria).
