Corinne Deléchat

Corinne Deléchat is Division Chief in the IMF’s African  Department. She is currently leading missions to Cameroon and overseeing a group of five central African countries. During her Fund career spanning three departments she has covered a number of low- and middle-income countries, handling, inter alia, the Fund’s response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the 2014 Ebola crisis in Liberia, as well as a wide range of financial and external sector issues. Prior to joining the Fund in 2000 she was a senior economist at the Swiss Ministry of Economy, in charge of bilateral assistance to a group of low-income countries, and at the OECD. Ms. Deléchat holds an M.A. and a PhD in economics from Georgetown University, and a Masters in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.
