Céline Thévenot is a senior economist at the Fiscal Affairs Department, Expenditure Policy Division. Her work focuses on inequality, social protection, labor markets and food security. Prior to joining the IMF, she worked at the OECD and the European Commission, where she authored several papers on social mobility, social inclusion, and poverty and income dynamics. She held various positions at the French Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Employment, and France’s national statistical institute.
