Allison Holland is Assistant Director and Division Chief in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department where she heads the Debt Policy Division. She has been with the IMF for over 18 years in a variety of roles, including Mission Chief for Zambia, Somalia, and Oman, Division Chief for the Regional Economic Outlook for the Middle East and Central Asia, and debt management expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. Prior to joining the IMF, Allison worked for close to 12 years in the UK public sector—including the Bank of England and senior roles at HM Treasury and UK Debt Management Office. She was born in Ireland and holds a degree in Economics and Mathematics from University College Cork and an MSc in Econometrics from the London School of Economics.
