Ali Alichi is a Deputy Division Chief at the IMF’s Western Hemisphere Department and Mission Chief for Suriname. He was previously mission chief for Aruba and a member of the U.S. team. Prior to that, Mr. Alichi held various other positions at the IMF, including at Research, Asia and Pacific, and African Departments. Mr. Alichi holds a PhD in Economics from Boston University.
