Susan Yang

Susan Yang is a senior economist in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. Before joining the Fund in 2010, she worked at the Congressional Budget Office, Academic Sinica, the Joint Committee on Taxation of the U.S. Congress, and John Carroll University in Cleveland. During 2014-2018, she took a leave, teaching at National Sun Yat-Sen University in Kaohsiung. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Indiana University. Her research interests include the macroeconomic effects of fiscal policy, DSGE modelling, and fiscal management of natural resource revenues in developing countries.
